Doom Eternal for macOS continues its predecessor’s focusing on ”push-forward” combat. This encourages you to aggressively engage enemies to get health and ammo. You have access to different firearms like the Combat Shotgun, Super Shotgun and others. The story of the game is about the forces of Hell beginning to invade Earth. So your task as Doom Slayer is to repel the demons.
The game features the ability to invade other player game in a system known as ”Invasion”. Also invading players are able to team up and spawn in a player single-player playthough as enemies. Another feature is an extra life system created as an augment to the checkpoint system. In it players may get a respawn without needing to go back to the last checkpoint.
